Health-related fitness consists of 5 components: Cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and body composition.

We try to do an activity each day that represents each component. These components help keep our bodies healthy. Below is a list of activities that can be done in each area.

CVE- running, fast pace walking, intervals, and aerobics. Anything that gets your heart rate up!
Flexibility- stretching, yoga, and dancing.
Muscular strength- push-ups, weight lifting, crab and bear walk, and jumping. Anything that strengthens your muscles.
Muscular endurance- high set reps of lifting and jump ropes. Anything that keeps your muscles working for a long period of time.
Body composition- eating right, working out, and staying healthy.
